While flying to Dublin with Scandinavian Airlines, I had a stopover in Copenhagen. The large-scale streets and the high cost of living were quite overwhelming. I tried to save money by Couchsurfing and immerse myself in the local culture, but ended up spending more than if I had booked accommodation due to my gratitude, buying various things for my hosts. However, I got to see the interior of a Danish apartment, which sparked my interest in lamp design.
